Lines may be capped at 3 p.m.
Ship tours will be held on Piers 88S and 92S in Manhattan; the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Brooklyn; and USS The Sullivans Pier in Staten Island. Events are free and open to the public.

- Military Day at Battery Park
Time: 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Battery Park | Manhattan, New York
Event will include military band performances, boot camp-style exercise session (6:30 a.m.), military static displays, demonstrations, and more. Event is free and open to the public.
- Joint Aviation Event
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Eisenhower Park | East Meadow, New York
Event will include military band performances, military static displays of aviation and personnel equipment, demonstrations and more. Event is free and open to the public.
- U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration
Time: 12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
USS Sullivans Pier | Staten Island, New York
U.S. Coast Guard will conduct a search and rescue demonstration in the water off USS The Sullivans Pier in Staten Island for visitors and ships to see.Event is free and open to the public.
- Navy Band Concert
Time: 5 p.m.
Military Island, Pedestrian Plaza between 42nd and 43rd streets (Times Square) | Manhattan, New York
Navy Band Northeast will perform on Military Island in Times Square. Event is free and open to the public.

- Memorial Day Family Picnic / Museum of the City of New York
Sunday, May 29 from 12:00 – 3:00 pmJoin them for a Memorial Day picnic in celebration of citizens who have protected the United States. Bring a photograph, memento, or even a memory of a soldier who is dear to you. The concert features the ISO Symphonic Band, founded in 1995 to sponsor talented students throughout New York City and led by the band’s inimitable founder and conductor Brian P. Worsdale. Each year we feature the works of Green-Wood’s permanent residents Fred Ebb, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Leonard Bernstein, and many others.
