Daring to Dream: A March of Hope

Manhattan Country School 8th graders will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by leading an inspirational march through the streets of Harlem. The students have chosen the march route and will stop at locations of significance to the fight for civil rights to deliver speeches about what they consider to be the most pressing civil rights issues of their time. Families, alumni, staff, friends, and other supporters are invited to attend. The march starts at 10 a.m. at the former site of the Renaissance Ballroom and Casino (2351 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd.) and ends at 1 p.m. at Manhattan Country School (7 East 96th Street).
