    Lower East Side Pickle Day

    Sunday, October 27th
    12 – 5pm

    Orchard Street

The sweet and sour anticipation is finally over and at long last, Lower East Side Pickle Day will be returning to the ‘hood on Sunday, October 27th to cover Orchard Street in brine-soaked goodness. Featuring the artist formerly known as cucumber, there will be a full city block full of world-renowned picklers, a home pickling contest (with celebrity judges), live music, two additional city blocks full of the best in LES food and fashion vendors, games and a Halloween Costume Contest for the kids. Brine me up!

A favorite of foodies, history buffs and savvy locals, Lower East Side Pickle Day celebrates the rich history of pickle vendors of the Lower East Side and this year we’ll be bringing back the pushcarts!  Lower East Side Pickle Day will now be joining our DayLife free neighborhood event series that stretches three blocks on Orchard Street, from Delancey to E. Houston.
