Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30 pm

During his three terms as mayor of Curitiba, Brazil in the 1970s and ’80s, architect and urbanist Jaime Lerner transformed his city into a model of sustainable living. In Urban Acupuncture (Island Press, September 2014), he celebrates initiatives from cities around the world that uplift their communities. Former NYC DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan and noted author and urbanist Roberta Brandes-Gratz will join Jaime following his presentation for a question and answer period.

RSVP required. Free for Museum members; $12 students/seniors; $16 general public.
