Sat, May 3, 2014 from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
CHALK/LES is a 3 day community-engagement project to celebrate the history of New York’s Lower East Side– which includes Chinatown, Little Italy, the East Village, and Alphabet City.
Come share your memories, events, and images of Chinatown by chalking sidewalks and open spaces throughout the neighborhood on May 2, 3, and 4th. All generations welcome, free for all!
MOCA is hosting one of several chalking stations in honor of Lower East Side History Month in front of our space at 215 Centre Street from 12:30pm-2:00pm on May 3rd
Start here and chalk your way through the Lower East Side!
