Enjoy Hungarian contemporary jazz with the Gőz-Kurtág-Lukács Trio.  Loop Doctors plays Bartók, Ligeti and Kurtág. As explorers striving to find new sounds and structures in contemporary jazz, Hungarian band Loop Doctors has the same goal in their field as the great contemporary composers of our time: to step out of the ordinary and push boundaries further. For this concert only, Loop Doctors will prepare four pieces from well-known Hungarian contemporary composers and add their distinct electrodrum’n’bass-jazz touch to the compositions. The band will be joined by legendary sax player Chris Hunter from New York.  Performers for Gőz-Kurtág-Lukács Trio include trombonist László Gőz, keyboard/percussionist György Kurtág, and cimbalum Miklós Lukács. Performers for Loop Doctors include pianist/rapper Aron Romhanyi, drummer Peter Szendofi, and sax player Chris Hunter.
