    Late Friday & Saturday Nights at Governors Island

    Fridays, May 25 – September 14, 2018

    Looks like Governors Island’s offering of letting folks visit late Friday nights will be a regular thing this season. We may be wrong but we recall not being a continuous offering last year. Well, this year of 2018 we’ll all have the chance to visit the island on Fridays from Memorial Day weekend up until September 14. Yours truly is surely looking forward to heading over with my cam(s) and tripod for some cool long exposure night shots of Manhattan!

    According to the official site:

    Ferries during Late Fridays run from 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan.
    Ferries will depart Lower Manhattan at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 pm.
    Ferries will return to Lower Manhattan at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 pm.
