Now that you’ve created your special kite, come fly it at Four Freedoms Park, just across the East River from Socrates Sculpture Park. With views of NYC’s bridges, skyline, and three boroughs, your kite be imbued with additional meaning as it’s flown above the a community space that celebrates freedom. And if you didn’t have a chance to build your kite on May 10th, don’t worry — artist Miguel Luciano will again be present to lead the kite-building workshops. Again, workshops will be 90 mins, beginning at 11 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM & 1:30 PM.
Tushevs Aerials will document the flight of the kites at both sites with one of their home-built remote control video airplanes!
