Professor Ira Breskin, Senior Lecturer at SUNY Maritime College will discuss Hot Button Issues Facing the Shipping Industry. He is a journalist, lecturer, and editor, focusing on maritime-related subjects and is the author of The Business of Shipping. To his lectures and writing, Breskin brings more than 25 years of experience as a business journalist. Professor Breskin will cover topical subjects of prime interest to those impacted by ships including:
- Consumers
- Cruise ship and ferry passengers,
- Environmentalists
- And those who admire, finance, insure or operate ships
Tickets are $10 for guests and $5 for Museum members. Light refreshments will be served.
