Iconic fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi will host In Your Face-New York, a live performance extravaganza that captures the spirit, energy, music and creativity of New York City on Monday, March 12th at 7:30 PM at Merkin Concert Hall.
Additional performers will include New Yorker writer Patricia Marx, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast, CBS Sunday Morning reporter and Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me panelist Mo Rocca, internationally renowned “perfume nose” Ann Gottlieb, author Patricia Volk and Former Daily Show contributor and author of “How to Be Black,” Baratunde Thurston. Music will be led by jazz legend Jay Leonhart and the 1-Train Band.
In Your Face – New York brings together the best of New York’s actors, writers, musicians and more to create an experience that captures the spirit, energy, music, noise and creativity of the capital of the world. It is a fun, loud, musical show that celebrates the city you can’t help loving – even when it drives you crazy. The show comes to Merkin Concert Hall after sell-out performances at St. Ann’s Warehouse and Symphony Space. Previous performances have featured Sarah Jones, Bob Balaban and WNYC’s Brian Lehrer.
