Honoring the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial
Thursday, April 19 at 3:00 pm
The Warsaw Ghetto Memorial, located at 83rd Street in Riverside Park, is a special monument commemorating the brave individuals who risked and lost their lives in the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
Every April, the community gathers at the Memorial in remembrance of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and in honor of all the lives that were torn apart and lost in World War II.
Please join them on Thursday, April 19th at 3pm for the ceremony.
Since 1991, David Goldstick, long-serving volunteer and trustee, has been working to restore and beautify the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial. At this year’s annual spring benefit, the Conservancy has chosen to honor David for his unwavering commitment to this Memorial and the surrounding areas.
