Discover the artistry of Alexis Hightower, an L.A. native who makes Brooklyn her home, as she brings a “mesmerizing” (Ebony.com) “blissful…and imaginative” (Soultrain.com) vibe to jazzy R&B, making music that you’ll want to listen to again and again.

Alexis is multi-talented (she’s a singer, pianist, songwriter, composer, and producer) and is inspired by legends Roberta Flack, Stevie Wonder, and Sade as well as by the contemporary sounds of Meshell Ndegeocello, Angie Stone and Gregory Porter. An Afrofuturist whose work merges acoustic, digital and sampled elements, Alexis is equally comfortable in several genres, having worked as a singer, composer, and/or producer on rock, R&B, dance, hip hop, poetry and jazz tracks.

This program will take place in the Main Lobby. Registration is not required.
