Groove to music by the Persuasions, Jeffrey Broussard and the Creole Cowboys, Rana Santacruz, Street Mule, Jenny Hill and Liquid Horn, DJ Ecotone, and Brooklyn United Marching Band.
Bug out with insects and critters real and imaginary. Meet an entomologist, feed worms and learn about composting, build a gigantic spider web, and play games on a vegetable midway.
Stroll down Author Avenue to meet 19 local children’s book creators, get autographs, and take in readings throughout the afternoon.
