    Garden Walking Tour in Fort Tryon Park

    Meet at the entrance to the Heather Garden in Fort Tryon Park

    Take a winter walking tour of the Heather and its surounding ares in Fort Tryon Park. Discover which plants are in bloom in each of the seasons! Learn about our numerous evergreens and conifers, some of which predate the park, from a Fort Tryon Park horticulturalist.
    These tours are wheelchair accessible but persons with mobility issues may find them challenging because of the park’s many steep paths.
