    Free Concert at Bloomingdale School of Music (BSM) :: By The Water

    Bloomingdale School of Music (BSM) is pleased to open the new year with a free concert  on Friday, January 12th at 7 pm with By The Water, a program that shines a light on the music of women composers performed by the Chartreuse String Trio. The Chartreuse String Trio features BSM violin/viola faculty member Carrie Frey, joined by violinist Myra Hinrichs and cellist Helen Newby.  Compositions to be performed include works by Bethany Younge, Leah Asher, Kaija Saariaho, Rebecca Clarke, and Pauline Oliveros. (Press release and photo attached).

    This free concert on January 12, 2018 at 7:00 pm will be held at the David Greer Recital Hall at the school’s home site located at 323 West 108th Street (off of Broadway) in Manhattan. Admission is FREE and seating is limited.
