    First Sunday! New Moon All Star Party Band (Ladies Only Jewish Jazz Eclectica Experience)

    In honor of the Jewish tradition of Sabbath our First Friday! is now a First Sunday! this May and is for ladies only. Join us for tours, family arts and crafts and a special performance by The New Moon All Star Party Band. The group consists entirely of Hasidic Orthodox Jewish women who, in accordance with the Orthodox principle of kol isha, perform for female audiences only with a blend of New Orleans jazz, Brazilian bossa nova, French cabaret, American funk, and even traditional Hasidic nigunim.
