Join us for the 2015 Chelsea Music Festival’s first installment of Festival Talks with members of Avanti! and composers Ilari Kaila and Uljas Pulkkis as the topics of composition and contemporary music, especially music of and inspired by Finland, are explored. Come hear what it is like to be Avanti!, Finland’s foremost contemporary ensemble, and about the creative processes of two leading composers. A rare opportunity to chat with some of today’s most brilliant creators whose works will be revealed throughout the Festival. Hosted by Chelsea Music Festival Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur and Ken-David Masur.
