Fall Tree Giveaways Return to a Green Space Near You!
This fall, NYRP will give away 1,500 trees at six events across New York City. NYRP has partnered with five local community organizations throughout the five boroughs for the giveaway events, including The Home Depot, The Bronx Brewery, H.E.A.L.T.H. for Youths, Brooklyn Public Library and Repair the World.
From September through October, all New Yorkers are invited to attend a giveaway to pick up a tree to plant in their yards and gardens, or on their commercial property. Based on your feedback, this fall will feature native fruit species that flower like Witchhazel, Mexican plum, Serviceberry, Magnolia, and Eastern Redbud. Check out the schedule of events below and visit our registration pages for a complete list of available species.
