    The Royal Thai Consulate General New York is proud to announce its annual “Experience Thailand” event will take place this year in Union Square on Sunday, Sept. 13 and will feature more cultural experiential activities than ever before. People in the New York City area are invited to attend the free event and experience the rich culture of Thailand through a variety of activities including: A cooking competition that offers the winner a free trip to Thailand, Muay Thai demonstrations, a series of fashion shows featuring distinguished Thai designers, an elaborate “Queen’s Project” display that will be decorated with Her Majesty’s decadent silks and fabrics borrowed from the Royal Palace in Thailand, a Thai art gallery, and a live Thai dance troupe.
