    Distinguished Aviators And Former Astronauts

    For Meet The Pilots Discussion

    On Saturday, May 23

    12:30 pm–1:30 pm

As Part Of Fleet Week Celebration

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will celebrate the 27th annual Fleet Week, being held May 20 to May 26, with a special Meet the Pilots event on Saturday, May 23 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Pier 86 (46 Street and 12 Avenue, Manhattan).

Meet the Pilots will bring together three distinguished aviators for an in-depth discussion about what it takes to pilot the different aircraft exhibited at the Intrepid Museum. Military officers, test pilots, veterans of combat, and NASA astronauts, Scott D. Altman, Ron Garan and Greg C. Johnson, who have flown some of the most sophisticated and groundbreaking aircraft and spacecraft ever developed, will share their thrilling flying stories with former NASA astronaut and colleague Mike Massimino, the Intrepid Museum’s Senior Advisor for Space Programs.

The program is free with museum admission and is part of the Museum’s Fleet Week programming honoring our service men and women, including a special lineup of presentations, programs and interactive displays. Details on all Fleet Week activities can be found here.
