Trolley Tour Highlights a Unique Collection of Tiffany Designed Windows and Gravestones
Green-Wood is home to an extraordinary collection of nineteenth-century stained glass windows — many of which were made by Green-Wood permanent resident Louis Comfort Tiffany, his staff, and his contemporaries. Join Julie Sloan, one of the leading stained glass experts in the United States, and Green-Wood historian Jeff Richman, for this eye opening tour of Tiffany windows, and the lesser-known, Tiffany designed gravestones.
This program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
Green-Wood – 25th Street at 5th Avenue, Brooklyn – Meet inside at the Gothic Arch. Take the “R” train to 25th Street in Brooklyn and walk up the hill one block and into the Cemetery.
