On Thursday, December 8, 2016, jeweler Sanjay Kasliwal and winemaker Crosby Roamann will host an exclusive event to benefit CaringKind, New York City’s leading experts on Alzheimer’s and dementia care for more than 30 years.
The event will showcase the incredible jewelry designs of Sanjay Kasliwal, who opened his eponymous boutique in New York on Madison Avenue in 2014. Born to a family of aesthetes, Sanjay Kasliwal’s devotion to creating jewelry of the finest craftsmanship is intertwined with his family’s legacy as the legendary jewelers of The Gem Palace in Jaipur. In addition to purchasing items from the Kasliwal collection, attendees will also be able to sample and purchase fine wines from the Crosby Roamann winery, a collaboration of the husband and wife team of Juliana and Sean McBride.
Ten percent of all profits from Diamonds and Wine for Good will benefit CaringKind and the free services and programs that it provides to Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers across the five boroughs. Jewelry items will include small gifts priced below $800, and wines will range from $32 to $135.
Event organizer and CaringKind Board Member Anne McBride noted that the Crosby Roamann winery is named after her mother Norma Crosby, who died from early onset Alzheimer’s.
