Come join Flora Miller, head cook of the Mount Vernon Hotel, in preparing a period soup recipe. Attendees will make a curry soup that includes dumplings, curry, kale, herbs and other period ingredients. Flora will teach the class period cooking techniques and the history behind soup in America. A glass of wine will be served with the soup at the end of the class. A vegan option is available on request.
