The CoffeeCon 2015 Meet-Up Experience in New York City

A radically simple idea of consumers on the leading edge of coffee culture

New York, NY – Coffee-Con NYC 2015 will be held on Saturday, March 7th at Broad Street Event Venue, 41 Broad Street, NY, NY 10004 from 9 am to 4 pm for a coffee tasting from many of New York City’s finest roasters. Six different classrooms, 20 different classes and labs will run all day long, covering every conceivable coffee topic. Lectures in the auditorium area are another option to learn about coffee. Coffee Author Kevin Sinnott, host and creator of CoffeeCon states simply, “CoffeeCon means coffee, coffee, coffee.

• Exhibit floor – CoffeeCon’s exhibit floor lets you taste all the top artisan roasters’ samples side by said, impossible anywhere else. You can talk coffee with these top roasters and also try various brewers, which enthusiasts know means as much to
  taste as the coffee’s origin and roast. Coffee and… taste treats from local bakers and confectioners abound as well.

• Another CoffeeCon feature is our ongoing auditorium presentations, including a two-hour extra-ticketed coffee tasting seminar taught by international coffee expert George Howell, credited for inventing coffee’s Third Wave. Other popular
  seminars include sustainability, taught by farmers themselves, offering firsthand experiences and a panel discussing The Future of Coffee and Freshness.

• Hands-on classes and labs, including pour-over drip, press, siphon/vacuum, home roasting, espresso, Turkish, water, grinding, cleaning your coffee maker and how-to-throw-a-cupping (coffee tasting) party.

• A New York extra (and World first) Chemex will be present inventor Peter Schlumbohm’s Collection of vintage Chemex Coffeemakers, concept drawings and photographs will be on display.

Coffee author Kevin Sinnott is the host of Coffee-Con. He’s written about, produced videos about, evaluated and tasted coffee for thirty years, making him the perfect impresario to lead this celebration de caffeine.

• Additionally, drawings for high-end equipment and the best in roasted coffee beans will be part of excitement for the consumers.

  

1,000 General admission tickets at $35 are available (kids under 12 free) and only 100 $90 combo admission and George Howell Tasting Lab at $90. Once these are sold out there will be no more tickets available. There’s a lot to love at CoffeeCon.com and something for everyone.
