“”Enjoy free dance and fitness classes by ((305)) Fitness and DanceSport this Saturday at Broadway Boulevard.

This Saturday is Earth Day, and to mark the occasion, the NYC Department of Transportation is closing 30 blocks of Broadway as an effort to lower emissions. 34th Street Partnership already maintains a stretch of car-free Broadway Boulevard, and we’re taking this day to celebrate sustainability, get spring rolling, and give a taste of some of the programs we have planned for this year.

Our Car-Free Earth Day Programming begins at 11am, as instructors from ((305)) Fitness get things started with ((305)) Dance Class. Inspired by Miami, this dance fitness class combines cardio sprints with muscle toning for an action-packed, addictive workout.  At 1pm, our longtime exercise partner DanceSport presents a Salsa Class, and then returns at 3pm to present a Swing Class. All sessions are an hour long.

Car-Free Earth Day Programming takes place at Broadway Boulevard, between 34th and 35th Streets, on Saturday, April 22. All classes are free, open to everyone, regardless of skill or fitness level, and there is no pre-registration or tickets required. Look for all of these dance-fitness classes to return at the upcoming season of Sweat34 returning this spring.””
