The Museum’s Program Director, folklorist Hanna Griff-Sleven, shares stories about the Eldridge Street Synagogue and its early immigrant congregation, inclduing a butcher, a banker, a boxer and a mikvah operator. After. enjoy an old-school kiddush with herring, pumpernickel and a shot of slivovitz.
