    Brooklyn Flea “mini” Record Fair

    January 7, 8 and 14, 15, 2017

Fort Greene’s iconic Williamsburg Savings Bank

Returning for a fourth year of cratedigging delight, the Brooklyn Flea *mini* Record Fair pops up indoors for the next two weekends (Jan. 7+8 and 14+15) at the market’s winter home at Skylight One Hanson, inside Fort Greene’s iconic Williamsburg Savings Bank. With 15 vendors spread over four weekend days—featuring shops, vintage collectors, and record labels selling new and used vinyl and musical ephemera—the winter version of the fair is a cozy complement to the twice-annual outdoor events with 60 vendors per day.

The *mini* fair will be located on the market’s lower vault level, alongside 25 Smorgasburg food vendors and a bar serving beer, wine, and cider. Highlights include an appearance by Carolina Soul, a collector and documentarian of vintage southern soul based in Durham, NC; former East Village reggae and dub shop Jammyland; Greenpoint’s Captured Tracks Shop, operated by the label that is home to Mac DeMarco, DIIV, and Wild Nothing; and the Rough Trade Shop, featuring the best records of 2016.
