Join Fatima Ptacek (voice of Dora the Explorer) and New York City weatherman Mr. G, along with NYC Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro and some of New York’s Bravest from the FDNY as they bring your favorite children’s stories to life on Saturday, September 12, for the 6th Annual Brooke Jackman Foundation Read-a-thon.
Created in the aftermath of 9/11, the Brooke Jackman Foundation, which promotes literacy for at-risk children in the greater New York area, hosts an annual Read-a-thon that offers the opportunity for children and families to celebrate the positive, transformative power of literacy.
