    Join The Bronx Concert Singers (BCS) and music director Robert René Galván on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 4:30 pm for their 35th Annual Spring Concert at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1891 McGraw Avenue, in Parkchester, Bronx, NY.  Maestro Galván has selected moving and exhilarating vocal and instrumental works by three esteemed Classical and Romantic era composers:  Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Peter Schubert and Johannes Brahms.  Featured works include Mozart’s Requiem, Schubert’s Mirjams Siegesgesang and Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody performed by the BCS chorus, with keyboardist Tamara Cashour, professional soloists and chamber orchestra.

    The Bronx Concert Singers is a nonprofit volunteer concert choir founded in the Parkchester section of the Bronx by people from all walks of life who love singing great choral music.  The chorus presents classical music concerts with either professional orchestra or chamber ensemble and has been a source of cultural enrichment in the community since 1981.  BCS is the chorus-in-residence at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
