The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, in partnership with Guerilla Science, will host Attraction Lab: Outer Space Edition, an evening of sensory experiments to unlock the science of attraction on Tuesday, April 16 at the Intrepid Museum located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) at 7:00 pm.

Beneath the space shuttle Enterprise, participants will throw on blindfolds to deconstruct the “romantic spark.” Think you might want to go to Mars one day? Find out what might be the key to pairing up for a long-term space trip. Through a series of interactive rounds, explore how sight, touch, taste, smell and movement influence romantic desires, and how you can spice up date night—or even prepare for a voyage into the cosmos—with a new friend or your significant other. No matter where you are in your journey of love or in the universe, this playful evening will have something for you to experience, enjoy, and discover.

Attraction Lab will be hosted by Chris Duffy, a comedian and staff writer for Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas on HBO. He’s also the creator and host of You’re the Expert, a live show and podcast where three comedians try to guess what a scientist studies all day.

General Admission tickets are $20. Alcoholic beverages will be available for those 21+. Valid ID required. Credit card only. Seating is first come, first served.
