    Shtreiml Concert: Jewish Roots & Turkish Blues

    “Klezmer will never be the same,” said the Montreal Gazette about Shtreiml. “Explosive” and “exhilarating” effused another reviewer. Enjoy this Montreal-based band’s high-octane mix of Eastern European Jewish and Turkish folk music in the magnificent interior of the Eldridge Street Synagogue. Led by harmonica innovator Jason Rosenblatt, joined by Rachel Lemisch (trombone), Thierry Arsenault (drums), and Adam Stotland (guitar, vocals and bass).

    Part of their Lost & Found Music Series. This concert is supported by the Glener Family in honor of Lyla Glener’s 75th birthday.
