Join them for this sweet talk with Susan Benjamin, President of Cool Confectionaries. Trace, and taste, the history of candy in the U.S. from gibralters, the first commercially-made candy (circa 1806), to salt water taffy, an American original (early 1880s). Learn about childhood favorites of the 19th century. Hear the surprising story of the origin of the jelly bean, and much more!  Appropriate for families with children 8 and older.  Space is limited; reservations recommended.
