The New York premiere of Requiem for the Living, by DCINY composer-in-residence Dan Forrest, is a lush work for full orchestra and choir. The five-movement piece presents an uplifting and inspiring perspective on life, love, loss, and renewal. This concert will also feature the patriotic The Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson and The Gettysburg Address by Mark Hayes.
