Annual London Terrace Street Fair
Saturday, September 23, 2017
Rain or Shine – Every year, the Fair takes place regardless of the weather.
The London Terrace Crafts and Collectibles Fair is back again for another unforgettable block party. This year it will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, from 10am until 5pm. West 24th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues, will be transformed into a one of a kind outdoor market, with vendors selling art, antiques, hand crafted jewelry, furniture, textiles, vintage vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, books, homemade cakes and pies and other yummy delectables and an assortment of sundry collectibles. It is an organic gathering of residents from the “neighborhood”—in the heart of Chelsea—who welcome with open arms, people from all parts of the City and various parts of the world.
The sidewalks will be lined with colorful displays tantalizing to the eye and easy on the wallet. The vendors sell myriad items that visitors can take home and relish for the rest of a lifetime. They don’t sell the usual commercial fare. There are no bins of tube socks and no smell of old frying oil. Rather, artists and dealers sell their wares and bring their style of an antiques roadshow to the Westside of Manhattan.
So, as the trees start changing colors, come on out with a friend, and let yourself go for a day of fun and festivity. Enjoy a homemade treat to eat and pick up something beautiful for your home. It will be another memorable day that will be etched in your mind forever. Proceeds go to the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Kudos to the London Terrace Tennants Association for their effort once again. Come experience it!
