    With a love for people and a passion for spirits, acclaimed Southside Chicago-based sommelier,Derrick C. Westbrook is taking his talents to City Winery New York on Saturday, April 13th to host his signature event, Samples & Samples. Westbrook will explore the relationship between music and wine with seven hand-selected wine pours. Each will be uniquely paired with hip hop, soul, R&B and funk music for a special sensory experience!

    With 10+ years of professional experience in Chicago’s food & wine scene, Westbrook is dedicated to simplifying the wine discovery process for newcomers, while making it accessible through both traditional and experiential learning. As a 2018 Wine Enthusiast 40 Under 40 Tastemaker and October 2018 cover star, Westbrook is excited to share his wine knowledge with the NYC area, for a fun evening filled with delicious spirits and good music!
