Activated by its new tenants, Bleecker Street is hosting a holiday-filled night the day afterWashington Square Park’s Christmas Tree lighting. Van Wyck, the firm headed by designer and event producer Bronson van Wyck whose clients range from Beyoncé to President Obama, will be transforming Bleecker’s storefronts with festive activations for the event.
The evening will include activities and events such as caroling, champagne, macaroon and cider tastings, live musical performances from artists including Alabama blue grass band “Paper Anniversary” and Vita Tanaga of the Red Sahara Collective, sweater embroidering, photos with Santa and his Elves, custom holiday cards by fashion illustrator Jenny Walton, and more. Brookfield creates these events to delight visitors and bring the community together to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
Stores will be open and have a combination of free and discounted items for everyone of all ages.
