5th Annual Space & Science Festival
Thursday, July 14 – Sunday July 17
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
Experience an exciting celebration of space, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and science fiction at the 5th annual Space & Science Festival at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan, from Thursday, July 14–Sunday, July 17.
The festival will offer guests a variety of interactive displays, activities, exhibitions and presentations, as well as a Family Astronomy Night and a free movie screening on the flight deck of the Intrepid. This year’s celebration focuses on how new technology is transforming science fiction into science fact, and coincides with the Museum’s temporary exhibition, Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience, an interactive exhibition that immerses visitors in the world of the beloved science fiction franchise.
Highlights of the 2016 Space & Science Festival include:
