39th Annual Family Festival by the Sea

This family-fun Town of Hempstead event features midway rides and games for all ages, craft vendors, favorite fair food and free concerts.

• Thursday: Ben Goldsmith and The Original Band (6:30 pm), SixGun (8:30 pm)
• Friday: ONE – Three Dog Night tribute (7 pm), Decadia (9:15 pm)
• Saturday: Jerome “City” Smith (11:30 am), Wonderous Stories (2 pm), Nado (4:30 pm), Any Way You Want It – Journey tribute (5:30 pm), 70s Rock Parade (8:30 pm)
• Sunday: Endless Summer – Beach Boys tribute (noon), Generations (2 pm), Back in Time – Huey Lewis & the News tribute (5 pm), Freebird – Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute (8 pm)

Festival admission is free. Ride wristbands are $30 on site; online in advance for $20 each, 2 for $30 or a Family 4 Pack for $60; and online during the festival for $25 each or a Family 4 Pack for $85. See website for ride ticket prices and coupon savings on rides and food.

Midway hours are 5-10 pm Thursday, 5-11 pm Friday, noon-11 pm Saturday and noon-10 pm Sunday. The festival opens at 5 pm Thursday – Friday and 11 am Saturday – Sunday.
