    28TH ANNUAL EASTER BONNET COMPETITION

    Easter-Bonnet-2013-Lion-King-200x300The 28th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition returns in April with the companies of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring productions offering skits, songs and dances, as well as elaborately designed bonnets created especially for the event.

    The 2014 edition of Easter Bonnet Competition will again be presented at the Minskoff Theatre, currently the home of Disney’s The Lion King.

    The two-day event will be held April 21 at 4:30 pm and April 22 at 2 pm. Get tickets now.

    The Easter Bonnet Competition, which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, ends a six-week period of intensive fundraising by dozens of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies.

    Last year’s Easter Bonnet Competition raised $4,250,542. Since 1987, the 26 editions of this highly anticipated annual event have brought in more than $53 million.
