From May 10-22, 2019, Design Pavilion™ will return to New York City’s Times Square
in celebration of NYCxDESIGN, the City’s official design week, inviting public engagement
with design and innovation.

In conjunction with Design Pavilion, Design Talks NYC is a fascinating and culturally relevant conversation and story series featuring architecture, design, art and civic visionaries and creative leaders. Now in its fifth year, the program returns in 2019, May 13-16.
May 13th will kick off the series with a full-day Impact Summit, a forum for all industries committed to designing a sustainable and circular future.

Design Pavilion Nyc Welcomed 3.7 Million Visitors To Times Square For Nine Days Of Curated Installations, Exhibitions, And Talks In Partnership With Times Square Alliance, Design Pavilion Again Served As The Public Meeting And Information Center For Nycxdesign, The City’s Official Design Week Design Pavilion, the annual New York City design happening presented with Times Square Alliance during NYCxDESIGN, the city’s official celebration of design, welcomed a record 3.7 million visitors to the 2018 edition in Times Square from May 12-20. Now one of the most visible celebrations of design in the world, Design Pavilion was the meeting and discovery point and host to the launch event for NYCxDESIGN.
Design Pavilion’s free and curated program of experiential installations and exhibitions, combined with indepth talks, provided the public and the design industry with an inspirational showcase of design for the 21st century. City officials, leading design brands, studios, and organizations participated together, activating five plazas in the new and radically transformed Times Square with new and innovative work by design leaders from around the world addressing how design impacts our future and the theme From This Day Forward.
