The Poetry Brothel’s first ever Seance event will be an evening dedicated to the occult art of communicating with the dead. The Madame & Tennessee Pink will bring back some of their favorite poetic spirits for the audiences exclusive entertainment. The featured musical guest on May 8th is Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers, ( who describe their sound as a mixture of “Jazz, Cigarettes, Sex, Guitars, Paris, New Orleans, Whiskey, & Scotch.” Other featured entertainers include aerialists, The Lost Boys of Circus Solaris (, fire dancer Evgeniya Radilova (, and one of New York’s most lascivious burlesque dancers, Cassandra Rosebeetle ( Tarot card readings, body paintings, and charcoal portraits will also be available for purchase.
