June 25, 2017

In past years we’ve gone on and on about the remarkable experience of being a part of this march, ‘and oh how extraordinary it is! Without fail, the powerful energized spirit of all participants was almost overwhelming. You could practically taste the enthusiasm in the air. We were there along the lineup in the hour leading up to the take-off near the Empire State Building along fifth avenue. From that point the energy refused to let up and seemingly, over the course of hours, built up to a crescendo…A high and a roar that just wouldn’t die. Just as in the past, by early evening we were all tuckered out to hold on any more. Myself and my associate, Suranit were tuckered out, exhausted and spent. Yet, If I could choose to re-experience and relive this sort of day at least once a week? Then I would!
