As excerpted from their handout at the exhibition

From January 17 to February 16th 2002 Max Protetch will feature A New World Trade Center: Design Proposals. Co-curated by Max Protetch, Aaron Betsky, the staffs of Architectural Record, and Architecture magazines, and other architecture professionals, the exhibition includes sketches, renderings, and multimedia projects created by established and emerging architects. This group includes many of the major figures in contemporary architecture, including Michael Graves, Zaha Hadid, Hans Hollein, Daniel Libeskind, Frei Otto, Coop Himmelblau, and a defining selection of architects who are the influential talents of tomorrow. The show will also feature proposals by several artists whose work enables them to make a particular contribution to the dialogue. Architects have responded enthusiastically to the enormity of the challenge at hand, and we are confident that the exhibition will be a landmark opportunity both for architects and the general public to explore the possibilities for the World Trade Center site. In addition, the gallery will make its space available during the exhibition for panel discussions, seminars, and fundraisers held by appropriate charities.

I got to visit their gallery days after the exhibition opened and was quite impressed with the presentation. Perhaps the most amazing thing was the imagination of these great architects displayed through sketches, models, photographs and multimedia. I'd spent only 30 minutes there but I wish I could've stayed longer. I definitely plan on revisiting!
