Engine 10 and Ladder 10 across from Ground Zero is 'Open for Business'

The firehouse created in 1867 and located at 124 Liberty Street, just across the street on the southside of the WTC site, which in its 134 year history lost only five firefighters, ended up losing another five on September 11, 2001.

This re-opening followed a $3.5 million renovation.
