Skiing - New York (NYC) State / Tri - State - New York City

New York State - Vermont - Pennsylvania - Connecticut
Skiing Notes

<<....Skiing Cross-country, or Nordic, skiing is one of the best bets for building endurance and burning calories. "It's one of the the best forms of general conditioning available," says Harvey Newton, executive director of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Cross-country skiing firms up glutes (fanny muscles), hamstrings, and even deltoids (shoulder muscles), triceps and biceps. "When you double-pole, you also have a fair amount of muscle involvement of the abdominals," Newton notes.>>
