These brand new subway trains
(#6 line pictured) are quite
an achievement, though we all know and expect them to get better and better
in generations to come. But there are always those of us unhappy with
some portion of the design. I personally don't care for the seats too
much...I Keep slipping off....hehehehehehe.....maybe you'll like em? Then
there are the voiced announcements which can be unnerving to some, and
the narrow build, and this, and that, and this and........lol.....
You know you're a New Yorker when this sort of discussion takes reign at the water cooler at work. |

At the Union Square Station in lower Midtown Manhattan,
one can find many new views of transit life. Performers, especially in
the Winter can be found in many of our subway stations...especially Grand
Central Terminal and here.

From this el train station at Parkchester Bronx you
get quite a view of the surrounding are. On the other side (pic
to come) you can see the expressway which is really impressive
at night.

This Beautiful Sunset is a wonderful backdrop to the
el trains sometimes. Much as it is with the Sky Scrapers in Manhattan.
