Thousands of New Yorkers and tourists are invited this Valentine’s Day to Times Square for a full day of romantic activities. For the first time, couples can renew their vows at the iconic Red Steps, sip hot chocolate and offer their love story inside the BRIDES Love Truck, and use the power of touch to illuminate a 10-foot tall glowing red heart sculpture on Tuesday, February 14 at Duffy Square in Times Square at 46th Street and Broadway in Manhattan.

Vow Renewal -- Whether you are married a few months or fifty years, come celebrate romance and passion by renewing your vows on the iconic Red Steps in the heart of Times Square. Captain Arnold, an active US Coast Guard Licensed Captain and Interfaith Chaplain, will officiate the 6 p.m. ceremony. One lucky participating couple will win two airline tickets to take a second honeymoon, courtesy of American Airlines. BRIDES Love Truck -- The BRIDES “Declare Your Love” Truck will be stationed in the heart of Times Square from Noon to 5:30 p.m., encouraging visitors to step inside and share their personal love stories, which will be streamed live on brides.com/love. The BRIDES Love Truck will offer hot chocolate and a chance to win diamond necklaces, earrings, and watches from jcpenney by drawing flowers.

“BIG♥NYC” by BIG – This 10-foot tall glowing sculpture utilizes the flow of people, air and touch to bring its heart to life. The installation consists of 400 transparent, LED lit, acrylic tubes that form a cube around a suspended red heart. As people touch a hand-shaped sensor in front of the sculpture, the heart will glow brighter as the energy from their hands is converted into more light. The heart will glow brighter and beat faster as more people interact with it.
