Congratulations go out to the winners of the men's and women's races and to all the many other participants of the NYC Marathon.
You're all champions!

The top three winners for the men's run are:
1. Martin Lel (KEN) 2:09:04
2. Abderrahim Goumri (MAR) 2:09:16
3. Hendrick Ramaala (RSA) 2:11:25

and for the women's run:
1. Paula Radcliffe (GBR) 2:23:09
2. Gete Wami (ETH) 2:23:32
3. Jelena Prokopcuka (LAT) 2:26:13

The NY Marathon, the grand event featuring tens of thousands local and international participants who'll run the 26.2 mile stretch through all of NYC's boroughs.
