It's that time of year again to head on over to the Hudson River
Park which has only grown more and more aesthetically inviting with
every single passing year! A locale in NYC which spans miles with
it's walkways, paths, bike lanes, sports, piers and scenic panoramic
views of the Hudson River! So look to the right and see what's to come
this year of 2012.

Rumble on
the River at Pier 84

By popular demand, the 2013 Rumble on the River once again features the ancient sport of Muay Thai kickboxing! Amateur Muay Thai boxers from the New York area get in the ring and battle to win it all!
Rumble on the River is free and open to the public with special ticketed VIP ringside seating also available. VIP tickets go on sale June 17th at FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS (Rain date: August 2nd)
Blues Barbecue Fest

Featuring:
Back for the 14th year in a row, Hudson River Park’s Blues BBQ Festival pairs America’s best Blues and Roots musicians with Brother Jimmy’s and Dinosaur BBQ, two of New York City’s best BBQ restaurants, for an unforgettable summer day on the Hudson River!

At Pier 84 In Maritime Entertainment District Here's your chance to dance with the sunset or rather with
your partner by the Hudson River. This regular venue takes
place every Sunday night from July - August.
There'll also be Free Dance Lessons beginning at 6:30 pm
courtesy of Dance Manhattan. Live bands to begin at 7:00

Featured styles include swing, tango and salsa.

Hudson River Park joins with Lole & Shape Up NYC to bring you free exercise classes twice per week!

Shape Up NYC (befitnyc.org), a free citywide fitness program created through partnerships with Equinox, NYC Service, and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield brings you Intensati: a workout that fuses high energy aerobics, martial arts, dance, yoga and strength conditioning. Attendance is limited to 75 people on a first come, first served basis.

Street/9A. Turn right immediately, heading north to Piers 25, 26,
and 34 OR take the 1,9 to Canal Street, cross West Street/9A at
Vestry St. head north for Pier 34, and south for Piers 26 and 25
