On more than
one occasion yours truly has had the wonderful opportunity
to witness what goes on at this locale last year and
allow me to tell you! It was quite the occasion!
Although the music on each particular night was neither
the sort that I'd venture out of my way to purchase
nor witness, these performances were wholeheartedly the
type that makes one wonder, Gee! What took me so long
to experience them in the first place? We're not guaranteeing
that they'll be your cup of tea but they're definitely
worth investigating at least once.

Madeleine Peyroux - As noted by NPR, Madeleine Peyroux became famous, in part, for putting her idiosyncratic touch on time-tested standards. With a repertoire that extends from personal, original songs to a breadth of rare classics from a bygone era , Madeleine Peyroux's standards are anything but standard.

Duncan Sheik - Tony and Grammy award-winning composer and songwriter Duncan Sheik has navigated both the Great White Way and the world of pop and indie rock. His latest release, Whisper House, hones his integrated voice – it is as much pop as it is a musical theater composition.
